Business Transformation Work Design & Technology: Organization in the age of A.I.

This cycle of seminars will be held by Prof. Kevin Crowston: Distinguished Professor of Information Science & Associate Dean for Research Syracuse University School of Information Studies.

How organizations are managing the potentialities (and risks) enabled by new technologies? How AI (artificial intelligence) is shaping  the work and the organization life? What is happening: AI stealing human jobs? Humans evolving while learning to use new tools?
In this cycle of seminars Prof. Kevin Crowston will discuss the changes that technology is introducing into organization’s life and will experiment with the students the use of emerging technologies in managerial tasks. Students will work in a team project applying AI tools to business cases.

There will be 3 mandatory lessons:
1. Friday 19 May (9.30-13.30) room 0.01;
And 2 other lessons are going to be focused on the team activities and f2f interactions between students and the Prof. (the attendence will be agreed during the first three lessons).
