Mission

OrgLab is the Laboratory for Organization Studies for the development, sharing and diffusion of ideas in the Organization Studies domain. At OrgLab researchers and practitioners from different disciplines meet each other (physically or virtually, it doesn't matter!) in a collaborative open (e)space focusing on specific Research Streams.

The concept of "laboratory" emphasizes: -experimental focus using new tools and techniques; -developing and delivering interactive simulation and experiments; -contributing to a learning and research environment in a sort of "knowledge platform", enacting integration and collaboration across disciplines and research groups, and bridging gaps between academic theory and management practice.

TAMLab experiments published on IJIM
2010, February: A first series of TAMLab experiments have been published on the current issue of the International Journal of Information Management, Vol. 30(1), February 2010, with a paper titled: Network effects in technology acceptance. The experiments, based on card games simulations, investigate on the the influence of different user network sizes on the choice of alternative systems. We find that the user network size may have a significant influence on system choice [see the Network externalities and TAM research stream] [paper manuscript].
